Subreddits don't make any sense.

r/midlifecrisis:

midlifecrisis

r/antinatalism:

antinatalism

r/castiron:

castiron

So there are only 8k people in the entire english-speaking section of the internet who want to discuss mid-life crisis on Reddit, but 27 times more people who are antinatalists (which is as taboo as nazism for the average person)? Nonsense.

And why does r/castiron have 650k members to discuss a skillet of all things?

And what about the content? 50% of reddit is jokes, 30% obscure factoids that no one cares about, and 20% are demoralization posts/comments.

There is an extensive psychological operation being conducted on reddit whereby the goal is to demoralize the real users in order to discourage them from posting, thus increasing their isolation.

How do I know this? My friend has been occasionally mass posting on reddit about the Dead Internet Theory for 2+ years now, and has gotten basically nothing but mockery.

Reddit moderators are not real: 5 "people" control the top 90+ subreddits

Of course, the top replies in that thread are jokes. Every single time.

Ask yourself this question: is it possible for someone to moderate a subreddit of 10+ million users, while working a job (modding makes no money) and taking care of themselves at the same time? Let alone 10 subreddits?

It's impossible, since thousands of new posts are made every day.

Reddit's logo is an orange (orange = 33 in gematria) bot:

I believe 99.9% of internet users are not real people. Part of this number consists of actual bots, plus undisclosed AI/LLMs of untold power. A significant share is made up of organic portals/NPCs. The 0.01% are actual people, divided into 2 groups: government plants and real users.
